So i got this gun today As indicated by this thread. Leave your general questions about it in there.
Ok first take out the screws (OF COURSE)The larger ones are on the priming bar.
And you're inside
When i pulled the Turret out, this little orange piece fell out of the plunger. This is what makes the seal between the turret and plunger. So don't lose it. Mine didn't go far, it was covered in an entire grease facory.
There's the front of the turret, Removing the screw only takes off the barrel spacer, and possibly holds in the rotation mechinisim. but that was glued in. The entire turret is pretty much one peice, so re barreling would be very hard.
Here's the back of the turret. the Air restrictors are glued in there pretty good. But! you don't want to remove them, or make the holes bigger, or you will destroy the seal. there was another grease factory on the back on the turret as well.
Now, to remove the Air restrictor, Twist the peg off with some plires (Pictured below, the piece that looks like pasta). Then you will be left with a small bit down the bottom. Remove that with a big drill bit and fish the rest out with a screwdriver (the upper piece of broken plastic). Just make sure its all gone, But don't increase the hole in the bottom.
Then put it back toghter. Making sure the little orange piece that makes the seal goes back too.
It hardly increased the ranges for the darts that came with it, but Taggers where hitting between 7 and 11 meters. But they didn't sit inside the barrels very firmy. Then I used my 13mm 00 fishing weight stefans and it hit 10 meters consistantly. because they had a much better fit in the barrels. thats double the range stock!
