Doesn't look like any of you here have an intrest in Big Bad Bow's. Why not? Well this simple mod should get you interested.
Unfortunatly, i've been forced to use a diffrent camera after killing mine with a titan. so the images are pretty bad.
So here we are, one Big Bad Bow, fresh from its box. fired once just to make sure it works
Go and remove the front half of the body.
We want to focus on the barrel.
Pull the barrel off (no glue here, it just pops off) and you're greeted to the air restrictor assembly. you won't need the white part in the middle with the orange bit on it or the spring.
Now here's the plunger stop. which is the back part of the Air Restrictor.
Cut it back like so.
Now take the orignal barrel and cut it off right where it ends
like so
Then take a 15mm Coupler and cut it in half. it removers dead space and also gives you 2 uses in one.
make sure the cut is as straight as possible, or your barrels will be crooked, and you don't want that.
Then glue it to the front of the barrel
Now we need to get rid of this dead space in the front of this barrel
cut a 25mm piece of barrel material. it can't be any longer than the ridges in the dead space area, or the plunger will stop too soon.
Hot glue in the front first. through the coupler
Then fill the dead space area behind all the way up to the ridges. Also i put a bit of insulated copper wire accross the barrel material to stop darts from being sucked into the plunger.
Then stick the white plunger stop part back in.
When it has dried put the barrel back on, and Electrical tape and glue it on for a good seal.
Put it back toghther, and then electrical tape the coupler to the body of the gun so it dosen't rotate.

Making the barrel
--------------------
cut
x2 6inch sections of barrel material
x2 1 inch sections of 15mm PVC
x2 3 inch sections of PVC
Wrap Electrical tape around one end of the barrel material
Slip a 1 inch section of PVC on
and glue and E tape it on. Make sure there is a good seal
Glue and E tape a 3 inch section in the middle of the barrel
Repeat above steps, so you have 2
Then glue and E tape the 2 barrels together on the PVC
Now you have a speed loader. you can also add more barrels to it if you want
I haven't alot or range testing (because of wind), but i've been getting around 65-70 feet flat.
The plunger in this thing is massive, With a beefier spring i could hope to hit 100 feet.
So, have i piqued anyones intrested in this gun yet?
