Easy Buzz Bee Big Blast Modification

hey guys, im going to start by saying Happy Australia Day!!!

Today im going to show you a simple mod, inspired by TheAussieNerfMan, that win increase the range of your BBBB's missiles and will also shoot stock darts and stefans (so im told as mine are getting shipped as we speak)

Before we start here are the tools you will need:
Phillips screwdriver
Crosshead screwdriver
File
Sandpaper (optional)
Cutting Device (dremel, hacksaw, etc.)


So here is you buzz bee big blast...it will look pretty much the same but maybe with a differnt paintjob. It will also have a small orange cap of the end of the barrel and 2 little holes on either side.

Now put your gun side on and on the front will be another orange device, and to avoid confusion im going to call it the "glued thing".So the first thing you are going to do is pry that glued thing off, sorry I dont have my own picture, but credit to OfAllTheNerf on Nerf Haven for it. Thats whats holding your gun together if it didnt have the screws. It was once quoted on nerfhaven that "its a bitch to get off" and thats entirely true. What i did was started to pry it off with my phillips and when that didnt work i cut it with my hacksaw at regular intervals so i could get the screwdriver to more places.

This is what i had to do in the end...

So now that's off you can go ahead and open up your gun. I dont have a picture of the internals but they are all the same so i grabbed one off of nerf haven (again credit to OfAllTheNerf for the picture)

you can take out the barrel and everthing that comes with it, just remember where all the piece go, but it should all come out as one.

Next grab your cutting tool and cut off just under those 2 holes at the front of the barrel.

you can then file the newly cut barrel until its smooth and sand if you want.



put the gun back together and there you go, can now shoot rockets and darts.

i cant get ranges on darts because of major fishtailing, but on the rockets it gets a lot further. i havent measured it exactly...but the first line was the unmodded and the modded hit that curtian on the other side halfway up. both shots were at 45 degrees.

Thats what i did to mine. I converterd my streamlines and they dont fish tail anymore.

This is actually really effective, i really need to try it. If i could get my hands on a LBB, or BBBB.
