Re: Your choice of weapon?
I would have to say distance and accuracey, like a BBB or singled titan etc. etc. to get a greater distance away from the other team, to eliminate them hitting me. I have a more powerful gun is what im saying.
but I do like to have a 30ft shooter on me, save them a nice big welt.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
My primary weapon is always very high ranged and single shot (BBBB). Reason being is I like to rush so if I can cheap someone out from a long distance it makes it easier.
Whereas a secondary is a medium ranged weapon with good ROF (Furyfire, Speedloader) This is so I can keep moving fast.
Backup I use a Nightfinder with a C836 Spring from bunnings with PETG Barrel. Basically a last stand gun, looks innocent yet packs a very big punch.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
I usually look for range, accuracy and reliability in my primaries.
I am currently using my longshot, but range isn't to good so I'm looking for another primary, which will most likely be my finished triple shot.
As secondries I use a splitfire (awsome range, small gun) a night finder(barrel needs re gluing) or a magstrike(clip advancement mech currently broken). I prefer not to carry a backup.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
It depends on my mood, most of the time i run with my LS with frontgun intergration and a Belt Blaster, between them both i can return fire with all stock darts which i think is handy in a war, and the belt blaster dose have a fairly good rate of fire

Your choice of weapon?
My choice is my PAS in my hands, my RSCB'ed 4B strapped to my back and my sm1500 in it's custom molded drop leg holster. That may sound like overkill, but my blasters are set up so that they aren't rape guns, the PAS gets about 70" and the 4B only hits about 80"(not trying to kill anyone)

Re: Your choice of weapon?
Why do people only use pistols as a "last resort" I spend at least half my time at wars running around with pistols only. My NF can easily hit more than what most lonshots can.. and I just love my Strike/crossfires even through they only get 30...
Pistols rule. Carrying to many guns suck. I run around. I climb shit. I jump. I also like having the option of moving quietly when the need arises..... all of which is much harder to do with 3-4 guns clunking around....
Primary and Pistol... most of the time I'll dump the primary at some point...
man up

Well said Aj, well said...
My Primary at the moment is my Recon and my secondary is my NF. Is my weapon of choice at the moment, I might work on PVC breaching my Raider too since my Recon was successful in barrel replacements... Will be getting a LongShot soon hopefully!.

When i say i use my nf as a last resort is because i mean if im stuck in a firefight and out of ammo on my longshot ill start using my nf because i prefer my longshot over it a whole heap.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
Sometimes I run around with my maverick, only because of its ROF. And i use my NF a little bit, to. Now that i have my Quadshot, it will be getting a lot of use.

changed my style
dual is quite difficult. i think i'll stick with my barrel extended maverick and the Marauder. the marauder is big but if u can handle it its good for deflections and dude sword fights are just awesome. you dont have to worry about anyone getting hurt unless u smack them with the flat part. bleh

I usually take a Recon and Maverick (obvious from my signature), but I have used a Vulcan before (very briefly) and tried surviving on just a Rapid Fire Tek, I got infected; jam prone thing it is.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
This ones detailed.... Ok I have multiple primaries but only use them in particular situations. My singled titan is basically my game opener held and loaded at the get go this way I get the first shot and hopefully the first kill, this also disconcerts enemy and allows maybe one or two more shots. After i'm done with the titan i usually drop it and take my water gun in hand. This is a much more versatile single fire weapon being breach loaded and much easier to pump. This is used till within enemy firing range when it is swapped out with either a LS, hornet, NF, raider or firefly for those quick paced close action firefights. Even though i have such a large selection I usually only use NF, hornet or firefly simple because they can be easily reloaded on the go but in some situations reloading may be a weakness and one may want to "out shoot" an opponent at which point I turn to the raider or LS (mmmm juice juice clips). Other than whats listed i have a vulcan for some heavy area denial visa ve camping with some other longer range weaponry.

To be honest, I don't think, he'll be coming back now, he's got like 4 posts in and you like ban him... he's written it enough so we can read it. :(.
Since I'm getting a BBBB soon, that might be my new weapon. At the moment though my recon is pretty powerful at the moment and with two drum mags $30 all up I got this in the bag and will probably by my main. Also contemplating my NF to be my main too, even though I have to reload each time I shoot, I can reload it fairly quickly now.
Tek 6 will probably be my secondary... Tek 3, a last resort, although I'm not really interested in it, if I could get like 30ft with it, that would make my day.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
Ok listen up.
I don't look at accuracy in Nerf there is none. I look at range, RoF, and comfortability- In Nerf its about practicality not looks or T3h 50 c@1 pwn@g3 s1np3r r1fl3. (L33t speak was done on purpose...please don't ban me)
I also don't carry a million guns just one or two. My primary and a pistol no need for rifle back ups they just slow you down to much in the game.
Primary: Modfied Spy Gear Signal Launcher- Gets better ranges than a BBBB a bit less than a titan but I would chose it over a Titan because the pump is located at the front of the blaster and the blaster is light and way more efficient than a Titan.
Secondary: Was a Modfied Nitefinder but that is becoming a nite-mav which should be a fantastic secondary seeing as my primary is only single shot.
Thanks,
Hamish

Re: Your choice of weapon?
After the recent nerf war, I am very pleased with my triple shot. Unfourtunatly I forgot the stock which, even though it its tiny, greatly improves accuracy. Its got long range, comfort, decent accuracy and after all the times it refused to work it now has reliability.
This gun was a great choice for thirty dollars.
I think, however, that the persuader deserves a mention. this gun is getting amazing range as you might have picked up from steadyon. So far it meets all of my requirments.
So my load out goes as follows.
1.Persuader at the ready.
2.Triple shot slung on my back as tightly as possible.
The persuader might get dumped along the way if the bad guys get to close.
Oh, and I can hit a moving target from 80' easy, and I did several times.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
As of yesterday I have a pretty constant supply of polycarb and good deals on custom springs.. +bows are immenent, I'll be making rev2's with split's super plunger head, most likely with square priming rods too. Also I now have all the parts for my nightfinder rifle and male plunger recon (needed square polycarb rod, I now have it ) so my preferred weapon may change.

Re: Your choice of weapon?
I've made the rod out of 10mm sheet cut to square, though I may go thicker for the +bow project. Plunger head is a v specific mcmaster part so I'm importing along with the plunger tubes
anyways we shouldn't derail this thread

Re: Your choice of weapon?
Dude nice spelling fail.
Anyway I go with my modified triple shot, it has a coupler directily connected to the plunger tube, with a longshot spring addition and a choice of an rscb, inline clip or single barrel. It gets awesome ranges.
I also carry my modded mav just for back up and good rof.

Primary: Longshot
Secondary: Recon (placeholder for my Vulcan, when I get it fixed)
Tertiary: Raider
Sidearm: Maverick (to be replaced by a Sawed off Double Shot)
Now I know that Vulcans SUCK, but seeing as I war with stock guns (it's not that I can't mod, it's that all my friends can't and if I have a fifty foot LS and they all have Recons, there's no challenge to it), it's actually very effective. And I also know that that's a lot of guns, but hey, I'm a very slow runner anyhow, so I may as well make up for a speed deficiency with FIREPOWER!!!!!!! My Vulcan has served me well in many a war, and never have I been that badly beaten. It's kind of funny, quietly walking up behind a group of people then taking them all out with my Vulcan.
