I would definitely do this but BT decided to discontinue the LS v1 spring, like how they discontinued their DTG spring -.- As soon as I want certain springs, they discontinue them.

I also find it strange that these guns perform better with Streamlines over the Blue foam. Did you notice any serious accuracy issues?

The accuracy of streamlines was a big issue where as the blue darts flew extremely straight.

    1. It's weight is about 1.2g where as the blue darts I'm using are probably around 1.6g (that 400mg reall makes a difference)
    2. There's theories that since the dart is so light, and at the same time the 'hole' in the side of nub catches the air and makes it occasionally spiral out of control.

Yeah I'm really cut, I wanted more DTG springs... they are perfect in the vulcan, furyfire, spectre and maverick spring replacements.

Here's an issue I've had. My darts are slightly shorter than streamlines and the dart tooth does not push the dart all the way in. This leaves me to think that could affect range. So I decided to try to push the dart down further and voila... I get more range.

I guess a solution to the dart tooth problem is to single the Recon... it'll reduce jamming I guess...?

At the moment I'm using a Spectre spring in my FuryFire (I thought it would compress better than the mav spring). It's working okay imo, but it isn't reaching that 15m mark that yours is getting. Maybe it's the padding I shoved in there that's killing the range... I'm not too sure.

But yes, thanks for trying this, and I'm sure the OP will be happy-ish as well.

You don't need padding in the Furyfire. You might need to put teflon tape under neath the o ring because the seals aren't too good. (2 layers).

Ahhhh... Thanks for that mate. I thought it was always best to pad reverse plungers. Guess you learn something new all the time eh?

You only need to pad reverse plungers that are in CLIP SYSTEM Nerf blasters. However, padding doesn't do much. You should really be reinforcing it with a washer and 3 day epoxy if you want the best results.

I'll remove the padding now then. Thanks for the information

I've got Alu plungers so no need for padding in the CS blasters
