Power Popper Nerf Gun Conversion Mod

This is my first write up so please help me with critisism.
So I went to my mates house yesterday and I saw a power popper under his bed. I tried it out but it seems the black bit at the end was missing. So i told him i'll take it home and make it into a nerf gun. And here's the write up.





Here I've used the coupler system from my nitefinder and used a 5" brass barrel nested in some tape in an inch of 15mm PVC and a coupler with some tape over it to fit in the Power Popper. I made it so it fits very tightly in the barrel.




Here are the origional Balls.




This is the finished gun. It has a removable barrel system and if you still have the black thing on the origional gun, you can still shoot the foam balls. The ranges are roughly upwards of 60feet (20 metres).

Pretty clear writ up for a simple mod.

It has been done before. I would get some more pipe and put it back through the clear pipe o the gun. Wrap some tape or something around that to remove the dead space then you could load that up with ammo so it would fire like an inline clip.

I did this with a Reactor. I used pipe which went from the outlet of air in front of the plunger as the barrel. I used copper though... so ranges where only 40 ft so if you do it with brass it would be good.

But instead i've just put around 10 dart inside the blaster instead of the inline clip and they just suck through as i pump. Kinda like an RSCB. But i will try it. Also an edit: I've looked into adding a ball valve at the end so it takes a couple of pumps then release the PVC ball valve to shoot.
