SO! I started serious work on my firefly yesterday!
On my epic search for the a perfect nerf gun for me i've passed by many different guns... The re-barrelled hornet, The revered longshot, the singled titan but none seem to perform on all fields.

The hornet is tricky to use in battle.
The titan is most definitely not close range friendly.
The longshot can be a hassle to reload in haste.
And all numbers of stock blasters just don't cut the mustard I enjoy (which is really not cutting anything as I hate mustard)

And so... I turn my eyes to insanity, to the plotting of a mad man, In the form of the salvation firefly!!!! (angelic choirs)
This firefly will be imbued with the power of a singled super soaker flash flood system while only appearing slightly deranged due to a few little black bits sticking out though this wont pose a problem as I plan to turn this gun into a suitably unrealistic costume gun (black featuring intense
    BRIGHT
blue coloured features as well as some unrealistic roughing up and tape (also there to assist in strength) etc to make it look sci-fi (Id love it to match with my eventual brink character look.)

This gun with have a CHANGEABLE FPS which is accessed through the battery compartment.
    Will fire all darts.
Will be very easy and fast to reload on the go wether for a full top up or adding only one more dart into the mix.
The gun will be short and easy to manoeuvre with (great for indoor or CQB)
And with the changeable FPS will be adaptable for either indoor power or outdoor power.

Work has begun and she needs a name so leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

Wow, does it have an air comp?

    What tank does it use?

No air comp, a pump integrated into the underneath of the gun (looks great and fits perfect).

The tank will be the lowest effective volume for firing one dart so as to fit INSIDE and require minimal pumping. Though the other option is a larger exterior tank to fire more rounds off one pressurisation though I don't like this idea as it will mean my picture of one dart quick reloading is less realistic as more pumps will be required to get good range out of the dart (if im thinking about this the wrong way please rectify my mistake).

Either way the tank will be home built out of some different pipes etc

Here are some images (not mine) of the water gun internals. I am using the pump and the large ball valve.

I wont be using that tank as it obviously doesn't fit a firefly shell

Sounds cool, name wise if you are willing to paint it gun metal grey and red details or black and red possibly the Predator always wanted to name a nerf gun predator.

    Other possible names.

    Eliminator
    Punisher
    Destroyer

Other classic buff names haha hope i helped

It'll probably end up a gun black (the matte look of most black guns) with bright electric blue on the pieces above and below the barrels.
