    Dear Mods/Admin's,

With the current influx of new member's, I thought there may be some value in the following additions to the site rules:

Along with all the normal rules eg: name, avatar, age, capitalisation, grammar etc, how about adding links to the most common threads.

ie: link to the questions thread, want to buy thread, modding directory, pictures only thread etc etc.

I realise there's probably a little bit of work in setting this up, but I have noticed quite alot of reply's by mods and admin's of late, addressing incorrect postings in threads by newer members.

Maybe this could cut-down on these instances. A bit of a pro-active approach, might save you guys some time and effort/stress in the future.

Anyway, it's just a suggestion, and really doesn't affect me either way.

    Sincerely yours,

    Clunk.

Maybe the mods and Admins could keep a saved template which they simply copy and paste when needed.

Well, this is the PM that is sent to every new member now. It covers the basics but not everything.
    It's an automated function...

Hello and thank you for registering with Oznerf,

Please read our rules and regulations of our forum.

Please abide and respect our ruleset and our members.

Also update your profile with an avatar, your age, and location (Suburb is preferable though State is fine/country if you are overseas).

Feel free to post a topic in the Welcome to Oznerf forum to introduce yourself!

The moderators (purple name) and administrators (blue name) are more than happy to answer any questions or queries that you may have, please PM (private message) us with your questions.

I hope that you have a good time on Oznerf and that you enjoy your stay

    Sincerely,

    The Oznerf Team

So, whether they choose to read the PM or not is their prerogative.
