Post  inPhamous Sun Dec 25, 2011 11:45 am

Hey guys im new to nerf modding
Ive done all the easy stuff like removing the ARs and adding better springs but im looking to make a brass breech for my longshot
Is it possible to make one with tubing in Millimetres or do I have to use ones in inches?
If so where can i buy them

When you buy it from hobby stores, they're measured in inches. You can buy them off ebay or find a hobbystore near you is your best bet.

Unfortunately I'm from Brisbane. So I'm unsure.

However, if you google it, something might come up. That or call up your mr toys toyworld because they sell it at specific stores as well. You just have to hope they have the sizes you need in stock.

When it comes to brass, its always in imperial measurements, I haven't seen a place yet that sells metric brass.

Yeah, unfortunately I'm too lazy to make the conversion lol. Just because it will be like 1.2453 or some thing like that.

Multiply the imperial fraction by 25.399999999972568 and that should give you a close enough measurement in millimetres.

Sadly no, the majority of brass worldwide is sold in imperial measurements so all the guides and write-ups will only have imperial measurements.

Yeah just follow them. It's really not that hard to work with since they use cm in lengths of cuts and shit.
