    Hey Guys,

As you are guessing, this is all pretty new to me, however it hasn't stopped me modding some of the guns I have Here is a quick list of the guns, mods done, mods waiting to be done and some pics. ENJOY!!!

    Nerf Rayven:

    Removed all Safety's
Added in Internal 7.4v Lipo (TIGHT SQUEEZE!) with external connection and charging points
    Cleaned up wiring internally
removed barrel and replaced with Black "Riser" pipe. Bored internal entry point and situated closer then stock to flywheels

As a result of the barrel change i get NO false shots where the bullet get stuck in the barrel, better accuracy, better range and the lipo adds more distance and punch ofcourse. I might step up to a bigger lipo next rebuild.

Ofcourse, its going to get a paint job to match the other guns below. Leaving Grey parts great, and the rest will be black with metalic blue highlights

    Nerf Stampede v1.0 "G36C"

Removed AR, Safety's (left toggle on / off switch)
Added in 14.8v lipo (will go a 16.8v probably later)
    Waiting on OMW 6kg+ spring
    Resleaded Plunger
    Chopped front end off
    Chopped rear end off
Added 6cm barrel and muzzle clip from the Rayven
Added LED Tact' Light wired with original on / off switch and 3x AAA batteries
Still to patch up rear end of battery area. When final battery solution is sorted, this will be done.

Paint job to be done, same as the Rayven

My other Stampede will get the opposite mod done, it will be a kick ass long range assault rifle. Its hiding in my shed as the Mrs doesn't know i brought a 2nd one to chop up - she thinks i chopped up my original... hehehe.....

Nerf Night Finder - last but not least

    Removed AR
    Removed crap red LED
    Resealed Plunger
    Waiting on OMW Spring
Added in LED torch head, wired to custom on / off switch in front of trigger (Left hand side) - will rewire to also work off trigger if i want later, its setup ready to go minus one connection
Added 2 bullet holder to Left hand Side
Holding 5 Steamlines with Hot Glue tips

Makes for a great backup gun or for long range accurate fire. Can't wait to get OMW spring and then do a barrel mod for better sealing of bullet.

You should get a C-836 spring for the Nitefinder.

My local bunnings don't carry them I tried that the day i brought it. I will try another store possibly if I go past one as the springs i have coming from OMW will be used in my 2nd Stampede now. I ordered 3, one for m bro inlaws NF, one for my Stamp' and a spare... which isn't spare now so I need atleast 1 more

Nope, its half inch actually. So its a bit smaller then 15cm, its closer to 12mm - 13mm. As for internal dimmension, i dont know, i know its thinner then the stock barrel internals by about 2mm at a guess, perhaps a tad bit more.

It will flex if i try hard enough, but its stronger then the 15mm pipe. Its a really good choice actually. i am going to find some more, i do have some spare lengths but i want a looooong length for another project once i finish with this G36C Stampede.

mmhmh i wonder if that stuff would suit the brass breach project for the stampede ...

its a $3 cheapie from my local "Ned" - Cheap shop. One is a silver cased unit and the others have a glow in the dark external rubber grips. They are a 7 LED based design i think from memory and run off 3x AAA. The NF one is only running off 2x AA batt's so its not a spowerful. I tried running them from a 9v batt but i burnt 2 of them out - OOPS

How does it shoot with the smaller barrel? I've found slightly larger provides much more range as there is less , but if you have found something that works I may have to user it

It shoots well. You may get more range from a bigger barrel from less restrictions in the barrel or it touching how ever i found the accuracy increase was far better and given the volt mod, the range was better then before anyway so either way, its a win
