    Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6

    Aesthetics:
The gun unit which fires the streamline darts is a very solid oversized pistol painted in the current N-Strike colour scheme which is yellow/grey/black. I find it comfortable to hold with a slight front heaviness. It has five interchangeable components most of which are compatible with all other nerf rifles. However there are two components which are only to be used with two specific guns. One is the shoulder stock which can only be used with the Raider CS-35 and vice versa. Two is the barrel which can be used with the Longshot CS-6 and vice versa.
Then there are the other two interchangeable parts, the red dot light and the flip up sight. These can be used with all other Nerf brand guns.

    Range:
On the box it has no claim to any range so there is a need for it to be tested.
Full magazine of streamlines without barrel inside: 311",337", 309", 307", 321" and 316". Average: 316.83"
Full magazine of streamlines with barrel inside: 300",298",300",291",286" and 297". Average: 295.33"
As you can see there is a decrease in range by about 2ft when using the barrel but it adds accuracy to the gun.

    Function:
The Recon is a 6 dart, magazine fed, spring powered, bolt action, foam dart blaster. It can only fire streamline darts and has a tendency to jam.

    History
There are currently only three magazine fed blasters in the Nerf N-Strike series, the Raider CS-35, the Recon CS-6 and the ever popular Longshot CS-6.

    Specs
    Name:Recon CS-6
    Caliber:Streamlines
    Operation:Bolt action
    Power:Spring
    Loading:Magazine bottom fed
    Capacity:6 darts
    Width:5.4cm
    Length:32.5cm
    Height:17.6cm
    Range(w/out barrel):316.83"
    Popularity:Unknown

    Overall:
I will soon find out the popularity of this gun but for now I believe it is a well known gun for nerfers, is in most arsenals and can be very versatile with the different attachments. Modified or not its a very cool gun

A good and comprehensive review you've got here.

But I'm a little confused about how you wrote the ranges. I thourght at first you said it got average ranges of 316 feet. It took me a while to realise you mean 31 feet. which makes much more sense.

Thats how you are supposed to show inches. You didn't measure it in inches did you?

I did measure it in inches and if you unsure of how to change that to feet its the inches divided by twelve which makes 311" 25.91666667ft.

Recons ARE good, but not very durable. Nice review.

That's some detail you put into this review, although, everyone seems to complain about the Recon jamming but mine never does...?
