To keep it short and sweet. I don't like how weak the LS pistol grip feels in my hand.
    Options so far:
    1. Fill handle (as much as possible without compromising the trigger mechanism) with epoxy putty.
    2. Reinforce with sheet aluminium and epoxy glue.
    3. Wait and see if the sucker breaks, then go from there.

So what do you guys and gals reckon?

I'm not sure. I guess if you like the extra weight, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Personally I don't use the LSFG.

You're really much better off taking the gun apart and using the spring in conjunction with another blaster's spring.

I seem to have been misunderstood, I mean the LS primary pistol grip/handle, not the LSFG or anything to do with springs.

I've never heard of them breaking. I do agree though that the handle on mine feels funny sometimes. Sure you could line it with putty, just keep the edges clear.

I know what you mean, for a big blaster it just feels wrong.
I was looking at doing something with the grip when i crack it open to put a new spring in it.
If i come up with anything good i will post it.

Modelling clay works wonders. Fibre glass and hot glue are also options.

I filled the grip in my LS with hot glue up to the bulkhead under the trigger. Best thing I done to it ergo wise.

Yeah, I find it seems to have a little give (or it moves a little) if you twist it. Whereas all the other Nerf guns I have used are a lot stronger.
I will give the Green Stuff a try but do it in two parts, so the gun can still be pulled apart.

Something I've never considered as an issue, but each to their own. Probably because I only use my thumb and index finger wrapped around the handle where it attaches to the shell when I prime it.

But, yeh, I'd suggest modelling clay or epoxy putty if you were to use anything.

    Cheers,
